DIVING COURSES
The school offers internationally recognized PADI courses for beginners and experienced divers who wish to improve their skills and technique.
Our professional instructors take students under their wings and regularly monitor their progress until they meet their objectives.
BEGINNER DIVERS
ATLANTIC STAR(TING):
Students are prepared for their “first step” in an initial leisure dive. An emotional and exciting experience! after a short, but necessary initiation lesson in the swimming pool, you will be accompanied out to sea for an authentic great dive!
Our aim is to do all we can to give you an unforgettable experience.
After your first “baptism” dive, you will be able to continue your training to progress to scuba diver level.
We will be pleased to train you up to the following levels:
SCUBA DIVER
This course leads to a level 1 international diving diploma enabling you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters accompanied by a professional diver.
Allow 10 hours of training (3 hours of theory + 2 hours of practice in our swimming pool + 5 hours in the sea).
OPEN WATER DIVER
This diploma enables you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters with a qualified professional instructor.
This training involves theory (5 hours) and practice in our swimming pool (4 hours) and includes 4 sea dives. Allow at least 4 days for full-time training.
If you already have your Scuba Diver diploma, we will adapt your training so you can progress to the OWD level without wasting time.
Atlantic Star also offers advanced training courses.
EXPERIENCED DIVERS
ADVANCED
This is the next level after the Open Water Diver (OWD) level. This course will allow you fine tune you diving skills.
After 6 dives and once you have met your objectives, you will obtain a diploma that will enable you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters.
FIRST AID AND RESCUE
This useful course prepares divers to handle diving emergencies, prevention and management.
This course is essential to become a Dive Master.
DIVEMASTER
This is the first “professional” dive certificate.
If you want to become a diving “pro” and be able to work with other divers and teach, this certificate will enable you to turn your passion into a “cool job.”
SPECIALITY TRAINING
For all divers who already have their certificate and who want to specialize in new diving techniques, we offer a series of specialties courses such as deep sea diving, shipwreck diving, cave diving, orientation and naturalist diving.
